August 28, 2018 (Sarasota, FL) – Esprix Impressions is pleased to announce that Artesprix™ Permanent Thermal Transfer Markers have been certified to comply with the following regulation:

ART MATERIALS CERTIFICATION to ASTM D-4236 & CFR1500.14(b)(8) (LHAMA) FOR CHRONIC HAZARDS
AND COMPLIANCE WITH FEDEREAL HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE ACT (FHSA) FOR ACUTE HAZARDS

“We couldn’t be more delighted with the ASTM D-4236 certification,” says Tonya Tremetiere, Vice President of Esprix Impressions, “From the beginning we envisioned these markers in the hands of children, but given the necessary application of heat for the sublimation process, we had to make sure kids will be safe with proper adult supervision.”

The review of the markers was performed in a manner consistent with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) guidelines found in 16CFR1500.135. The CPSC adheres to the product safety requirement intended to be used for children’s product, and the procedures and regulations followed have been filed with the CPSC.
